Darian was born and raised in Seward, AK. He was a wrestling champion in high school, and he definitely brings his power gained in countless matches to the backcountry of Alaska. Darian has the skills to pay the bills, as he has been a professional snowboarder since the age of 17. He lived in the Tahoe area for 5 winters chasing the uber pro dream, but the lack of serious sponsor support brought Darian back to AK in the summer of '07. He currently owns a commercial fishing boat with his brother and is working in the Prudhoe Bay oil fields to keep the dream alive.
